Raudel Montes Arjon of Phoenix AZ Passed Away Unexpectedly at 68

The community of Phoenix, Arizona, is mourning the loss of Raudel Montes Arjon, who passed away unexpectedly on November 29, 2025. He was 68 years old. Raudel’s sudden passing has left a deep void in the hearts of his family and all who knew his generous and joyful spirit.

A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Raudel was a devoted family man. He shared 45 years of marriage with his wife, Sofia, and together they raised three children and cherished seven grandchildren. His home in Maryvale was a warm gathering place, filled with Sunday barbecues, laughter, and the stories of a life well-lived.

Born in Mexico, Raudel immigrated to Phoenix in 1970. He pursued his education through adult classes at Phoenix College, earning his GED, and later completed vocational training in HVAC systems. He used these skills not only in his career but also to help others, often making free repairs for elderly neighbors in need.

Raudel worked for over 30 years as a maintenance technician at a South Phoenix manufacturing plant, where his dedication and positive attitude led to a supervisory role. He was respected as a mentor who patiently guided younger workers and solved problems with calm efficiency.

Beyond work, Raudel’s life was filled with faith, service, and simple joys. He coached his sons’ soccer teams, crafted toys for his grandchildren, and volunteered with Sofia at their local Catholic church, organizing food drives that fed hundreds each year. He loved hiking in Papago Park, tending to his backyard citrus trees, sharing the harvest with neighbors, and listening to mariachi music.

A memorial service will be held on December 10 at St. Vincent de Paul Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to local immigrant aid programs, honoring Raudel’s lifelong belief in community, hard work, and compassion.

Rest in peace, Raudel. Your kindness and warmth will be remembered always.
