Lisa Ann Creech Death – Beloved resident of North Vernon, Indiana, has peacefully died at home

North Vernon, Indiana, mourns the loss of Lisa Ann Creech, who passed away peacefully at her home on December 7, 2025, at the age of 55. Born May 21, 1970, in Greensburg to James L. Sturgill and Edith Arnett Sturgill, she spent her life in Jennings County fostering strong family ties. Lisa’s warmth and dedication touched many in the community.

As a devoted mother, Lisa cherished her children Jonathon Moore, Donavan Creech, and Kiesha Highfill. She took immense pride in her grandchildren Dawson Creech, J.J. Creech, Mia Day, Cooper Highfill, and Carsyn Highfill. Her home was a haven of love and shared celebrations.

Lisa’s family included brother Luther Sturgill and sisters Patricia Burchett, Norma Bennett, Donna Brackett, and Mary Longsberry. Predeceased by her parents, she remained a pillar of support for her siblings. Family gatherings were filled with her nurturing presence.

Professionally, Lisa focused on homemaking, creating a spotless environment that reflected her meticulous nature. She balanced daily tasks with passions that brought joy to her routine. Her lifestyle emphasized comfort and simple pleasures.

Lisa found delight in baking homemade treats for loved ones and watching true crime television shows. She enjoyed listening to music and cruising around town in her free time. These hobbies showcased her creative and relaxed side.

A visitation for Lisa will be held December 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service. The funeral service follows at 7:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Todd Rowland, with cremation afterward. Memorial contributions may assist with expenses.
