A 14-year-old cherished freshman at F.J. Reitz High School, Alexander “Alex” Hessler of Evansville community has tragically passed away, leaving the school community in mourning.
Alex died on November 16, 2025, after a high-speed single-vehicle crash near Orchard and Hillside Roads, where he was ejected and succumbed to injuries despite emergency efforts. As a valued member of the freshman football squad, his sudden loss has left classmates, teammates, and faculty heartbroken.
