On November 29, 2025, Anthony Rogde-Hinderliter unexpectedly passed away, leaving Rochelle devastated. Anthony passed away far too young at the age of 31, but everyone who was fortunate enough to have known him as a family member or friend will carry on the love, humor, and generosity he freely shared.
Growing up in the center of Rochelle, Anthony discovered early on that a helpful hand and a smile could brighten someone’s entire day. Whether he was supporting the Rockets, hanging out with pals in the neighborhood, or simply being there for someone when they needed him most, he brought that warmth into everything he did.
He put in a lot of effort at work and loved even more. Anthony had a knack of making everyone feel like they belonged and a chuckle that could fill a room. He was the buddy who could make an average night into a memory you would talk about for years, who never forgot a birthday, and who arrived with a truck when you were relocating.
Anthony’s universe revolved on family. His chosen family, parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, and a lengthy number of relatives will miss his teasing and bear hugs. His heart was always willing to listen, his fridge was always filled, and his house was always open.
Rochelle has lost one of its own. Anthony Rogde-Hinderliter leaves behind a community that feels a little dimmer without his light. He lived with heart and loved without boundaries.
The Unger Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle will have a viewing on Tuesday, December 3, 2025, and a funeral service on Wednesday, December 4, 2025. Come celebrate a life that meant so much to so many and share experiences with everyone who knew and loved Anthony.
Rest easy, Anthony. Every sunset over the fairgrounds and every friend’s laugh will keep your soul alive thanks to Rochelle. Brother, you will be missed.
