Bruce grew up in the Collingwood area, attending Collingwood Collegiate Institute where he developed a passion for community service through school events. His education focused on practical skills that fueled his 28-year career in South Georgian Bay.
Professionally, Bruce specialized in residential sales across Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, and Blue Mountain, guiding first-time buyers and investors with integrity and market expertise. He co-founded The Home Hunt team with his wife Mary, a staging professional, earning praise for personalized service and staging that transformed listings.
Bruce shared a loving home with his wife Mary, raising daughters Jocelyn and Holly after the heartbreaking loss of their firstborn Alyssa Rae in 1997. Family adventures included motorcycle rides and lakeside gatherings, strengthening bonds with grandchildren and extended relatives. These ties anchored his life of service and adventure.
Bruce embraced an energetic lifestyle with long-distance motorcycle tours for charity, including 10,000 km rides across Eastern Canada. He followed a disciplined routine of early market reports and evening family dinners, staying active through golf and volunteer drives.
