It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Deborah Lynn Gale of South Western Ontario on December 7, 2025, at the age of 68. Her gentle presence and creative spirit left an indelible mark on family and community, and her absence is felt deeply by all who knew her.
Known affectionately as Debbie, she devoted her life to family—partnering with Paul Awalt and raising Donna, Tammy, and Stephen with steady love and care. She took immense joy in being a grandmother to Kay Lee Awalt Narciso (Dylan), Desiree Awalt (Adam), and Corey Giesbrecht, and in welcoming great-grandchildren Isla Brawley, Emelia Brawley, Daxton Narciso, and Selena Narciso into the family circle.
Debbie expressed her creativity through crafting, making handmade treasures that brightened gatherings and became cherished keepsakes. She treasured time spent with children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended relatives, finding meaning in the simple pleasures of togetherness and the quiet rituals that knit families closer.
Throughout her years in South Western Ontario, Debbie lived with quiet resilience and an approachable warmth that turned ordinary moments into lasting memories. Her thoughtful gestures and steady kindness fostered a sense of belonging in both rural and suburban settings, and neighbors remember her for the comfort she brought to everyday life.
In accordance with Debbie’s wishes, cremation has taken place to allow for intimate family remembrance. The family asks for privacy as they grieve, and they take solace in the many memories and traditions Debbie leaves behind—her legacy of love, creativity, and gentle devotion will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know her.
