Born June 26, 1986, in Knott County to Jerry Wayne Lumpkins Sr. and the late Patricia Caldwell Lumpkins, Jeffery’s life was rooted in the Appalachian hills where family ties ran as deep as the local streams.
Jeffery grew up in the embrace of Knott County, attending local schools that instilled in him a strong work ethic and appreciation for community. He pursued practical skills through vocational programs, channeling his hands-on talents into roles in construction and maintenance, where his reliability made him a go-to neighbor for repairs and projects.

Family was Jeffery’s guiding light, as a loving father to Paige Lewis, Dakota Lewis, Gary Lewis, Chase Lewis, Nick Mosley, and Addison Mosley, and a cherished partner to girlfriend Jessica Mosley.
