Mykhaylo came to Georgia from Ukraine with hopes of building a better life for his loved ones. In Cumming, he created a home filled with laughter, hard work, and the comforting aroma of his wife’s cooking. Friends remember him as someone who never met a stranger.
For five years, cancer tried to dim his spirit, but he refused to let it win. He faced every treatment and setback with quiet strength. Even on his hardest days, he found ways to lift others, asking about their families, sharing a smile, and reminding everyone that love is stronger than illness.
Family was the center of his life. He was a devoted husband whose eyes lit up when his wife entered the room, a proud father who never missed a school event or game, and a playful grandfather who could turn an ordinary afternoon into an adventure.
