Rev. Pamela Kay Williams, a longtime resident of Selmer, Tennessee, died on April 8, 2026, at the age of 66. She is remembered as a woman of deep faith who devoted her life to serving God and supporting those around her.
Williams gave her life to Jesus in 1983 at Emmanuel Tabernacle Holiness Church. Singing praises became one of her greatest joys, and she used her voice to lift spirits and draw others closer to their faith. In 1998, she accepted her calling to preach and became a minister, sharing messages of hope and love with warmth and conviction.
For more than 20 years, she attended Grace Apostolic Community Church, also known as Sand Hill Holiness Church. There, she was known as a prayer warrior who carried the burdens of others with compassion. She offered comfort and hope to countless people through her steadfast intercession and encouraging presence.
Outside of her ministry, Williams enjoyed simple, everyday pleasures. She loved to garden, planting tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers each year, following the example of her mother. She also enjoyed reading, working puzzles, creating jewel art, sewing, and making appliqué quilts. These hobbies reflected her creative and nurturing spirit.
She was a proud and loving mother to her children, Basil Williams Jr. and Angelia Williams. She was a grandmother to Katilynn, Maddox, Alex, and Sebastian, and a great-grandmother to Zoey. Her family brought her great pride and joy, and she cherished long phone conversations filled with laughter and sisterly teasing.
A service celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Tabernacle Holiness Church in Stantonville, Tennessee. Visitation will take place on Saturday evening and Sunday morning before the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends will gather to remember a woman whose faith, music, and gentle kindness left a lasting mark on all who knew her.
