Her gentle departure has created a quiet emptiness for those who knew her best, yet it has also drawn them closer as they hold tightly to the memories of a woman whose warmth, strength, and devotion to family defined her life and touched everyone around her.
Teresa was born in Riverton, Wyoming, on December 9, 1971. Her parents are Mary Rose (Yellowbear) SunRhodes and Earnest Joseph SunRhodes, Jr. She made longtime friends and stayed true to her upbringing’s ideals while attending Wyoming Indian High School, Chemawa Indian School, and St. Stephen’s School.
Growing up in the Arapahoe area, she developed a deep connection to her Native American heritage and was an enrolled member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe. She actively participated in traditional ways, attending ceremonies and cultural gatherings that strengthened her connection to her people and community.
Teresa was a devoted wife to Jamie Feazell and a loving mother who found her greatest joy in caring for her family. She loved cooking for them, gathering everyone together, and spending time with her children and grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her home was a place of warmth and togetherness, where she created lasting memories through simple acts of love and the steady support she offered without hesitation.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, followed by interment at the Arapaho Catholic Cemetery. A prayer service will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 38 Great Plains Road in Arapahoe, with an all-night wake to follow. These gatherings offer family and friends a meaningful space to come together, share stories of Teresa’s loving spirit, and begin healing while honoring the woman who meant so much to so many in Arapahoe and beyond.
