Cincinnati’s West Price Hill neighborhood is hearbroken from a violent early-morning crash that claimed the life of Awfwhite “Xking” Jett on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. The fatal incident happened just before 1:30 a.m. on West 8th Street near Grand Avenue, a residential stretch that turned chaotic in seconds.
According to Cincinnati Police, officers were dispatched after multiple 911 calls reported a severe two-vehicle collision with one car on fire. When crews arrived, they found Xking’s vehicle heavily damaged and engulfed in flames.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze and pulled him from the wreckage, but despite immediate CPR and transport to UC Medical Center, he was pronounced dead from blunt-force trauma. The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office confirmed his identity later that morning.
Investigators quickly determined this was a hit-and-run. A second vehicle, described only as a dark-colored sedan, struck Xking’s car at high speed, spun out, and fled eastbound on West 8th Street.
Evidence at the scene included scattered debris, skid marks, and parts of the fleeing vehicle. CPD’s Traffic Unit and Hit-and-Run investigators are actively searching for the suspect driver and vehicle. Anyone with dash-cam footage or information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
