Sabria Hardy Bloomfield, CT Death – Connecticut woman has died in Enfield on Monday

Sabria Hardy, a 38-year-old mother from Bloomfield, Connecticut, was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 91 South in Enfield on Monday, January 26, 2026. The collision occurred near Exit 46 around 2:45 p.m., and despite the rapid arrival of emergency crews, she did not survive her injuries.

Connecticut State Police reported that the crash began when a 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander and a 2021 Acura ILX collided in the southbound lanes. The Acura, which Hardy was riding in as a passenger, came to a stop in the center lane following the initial impact. Moments later, a 2025 Jeep Compass struck the rear of the Acura, causing a violent chain reaction that left Hardy critically injured.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene and closed portions of the highway to assist those involved. Hardy was found with severe injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, but she succumbed to her wounds shortly afterward. The driver of the Acura and two other individuals sustained only minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

The crash caused significant traffic delays along I-91 South as investigators worked to reconstruct the sequence of events. Troopers examined skid marks, vehicle damage, and roadway conditions to determine contributing factors. At this time, no charges have been announced, and the investigation remains ongoing.

She had just celebrated her 38th birthday days before the crash, making the tragedy even more painful for those closest to her.
