Shawn was a risk taker from the start. As a young man, he chased adventure wherever he could find it. To honor Shawn’s memory and continue his greatest wish for his daughter, a college fund has been established for Allisandra. A Celebration of Life will be held at Pine Knob Ski Resort in the Pinery Room on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. and run until 11:30 a.m. A ceremony will follow from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. After that, an open house with lunch and time for sharing memories will continue until 4:00 p.m. It will be a day for those who loved Shawn to gather, remember, and hold each other close.
Shawn is survived by his daughter Allisandra, the mother of his daughter Teresa King, his parents Jim and Carol King, and his brothers Craig and Jeff King.
