Stephanie Miller, 47, of Midland, VA, Killed by Dominion Energy Truck on Meetze Road

Authorities in Fauquier County confirmed that a 47-year-old woman lost her life in a two-vehicle collision on Thursday afternoon, February 5, 2026. The crash occurred along Meetze Road, just south of Warrenton, near the intersection of Old Meetze Road and Rodgers Drive. Deputies and emergency crews were dispatched at approximately 3:22 p.m. following reports of a serious accident involving a passenger car and a Dominion Energy pickup truck.

When first responders arrived, they found both vehicles with extensive damage. The Toyota Corolla, driven by Stephanie Miller of Midland, Virginia, had collided with the large utility truck. The impact was severe enough to prompt partial road closures in the area as crews worked to secure the scene and assist those involved.

Investigators determined that Miller’s Corolla was traveling southbound on Meetze Road when the collision occurred. The Dominion Energy truck was operating in the area at the time, and the force of the crash left both vehicles immobilized. Authorities immediately began reconstructing the sequence of events to understand how the collision unfolded.

Emergency medical personnel attempted to provide aid, but Miller succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The driver of the Dominion Energy truck was evaluated for injuries, though no fatalities were reported from that vehicle. The sheriff’s office noted that the investigation remains ongoing, with attention focused on road conditions, vehicle speed, and potential contributing factors.

The incident drew significant attention in the Warrenton community, as Meetze Road is a well-traveled route connecting residential areas with local businesses. Dominion Energy confirmed that one of its vehicles was involved, and the company expressed cooperation with law enforcement during the investigation.

Traffic was diverted for several hours while crews cleared debris and ensured the roadway was safe for travel. The sheriff’s office has urged drivers to exercise caution along Meetze Road and surrounding intersections, emphasizing that even familiar routes can present unexpected dangers.
