A 60-year-old man was found unresponsive near his vehicle in rural Champaign County, Ohio, on the morning of Wednesday, February 4, 2026. The Champaign County Sheriff’s Office responded at approximately 7:48 a.m. to a location along Haines Road, near the village of Urbana. Deputies arrived to find Scott Thuma, a resident of Springfield, beside a vehicle with what appeared to be an injury.
