He is remembered as a beloved brother to Vernon Southwind, Clyve and Patricia, Wihlamena (Sylvester Sr. Baa), Marlene (Silas Sr.) of Sagamok, Mae of North Bay, and Barbara, alongside the late Davis, Andreson, Thomas, Calvin, Carmen, Phyllis, and David. This extended network of siblings formed the heart of his world, where family gatherings offered comfort and continuity across generations.

On Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., there was a visitation at the New Community Center in Sagamok. On Monday, April 20, 2026, at 11 a.m., there was a burial service, and the deceased was buried at the New Sagamok Cemetery.
