Linda Kay Green, who died peacefully on April 16, 2026, at the age of 67, surrounded by loved ones at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton, has been discreetly honored by the Braselton community in northeast Georgia. People who knew her thought of the constant warmth she provided to daily life in this expanding part of the state as a result of her many years in the region, which generated a soft ripple of connection through family and community relationships.
Her journey was formed by the quiet resilience that carried the principles of her Midwestern childhood into adulthood. No matter where life took her, those early roots in southern Illinois contributed to the development of a woman who cherished family ties and the basic pleasures of home.
She made her home in Braselton for decades, weaving a life centered on the people closest to her heart and the routines that brought stability and joy to her days. In this welcoming Georgia town she built lasting relationships that reflected her caring nature and the way she showed up consistently for those around her.
Linda is remembered with deep affection by her husband David Green, who shared so many of life’s chapters with her, and by her daughter Courtney Green, step-son Carl Green, and step-daughter Amy Green. She also leaves behind granddaughter Aubree Lawrence and step-granddaughter Samantha Moore, along with her brother Donald Trail and sister Donna Milligan, all of whom felt the gentle strength of her presence in their lives.

A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. on April 21 in the chapel, with Pastor Matthew D. Calvert officiating and interment at Memorial Park South Cemetery, allowing loved ones to celebrate a life defined by devotion and quiet grace.
