He eventually settled into a long tenure at ZF, where he worked as a machinist and welder until retirement, earning respect for the consistent quality and reliability he brought to every task.
Beyond his professional life, he found profound purpose in his many years of service as a deacon and church clerk at Straightway Baptist Church, roles he approached with genuine devotion and a quiet sense of calling.
