Luke Helton Middletown, OH Death – Butler and Warren counties mourns his loss

A 24-year-old man has died following a two-vehicle collision Monday evening in Middletown, Ohio. The fatal crash occurred on February 2, 2026, at approximately 6:03 p.m. along Carmody Boulevard near its intersection with Hook Drive. The Butler County Coroner’s Office has identified the deceased as Luke Helton, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

When police arrived at the location, they found two vehicles involved in the crash. Helton was the driver and sole occupant of one of the vehicles. The driver of the second vehicle, who was also the only person in that car, sustained potentially serious injuries. This injured driver was transported by the Middletown Division of Fire to Atrium Medical Center for treatment.
