Everyone who knew him was tremendously impacted by his quiet perseverance during this difficult journey; his family and community were overcome with sadness even as they celebrated a life that was remarkably full.
Only a few months after losing his mother, Pramod was diagnosed around the Christmas season in late 2024. He had surgery and extensive therapeutic treatments at one of the top oncological institutes in the country, facing the lengthy and difficult treatment regimen with calm dignity.
His choice to relocate his family from Dallas to Houston demonstrated his unwavering dedication to getting the best medical care possible, even in the face of mounting challenges. As a loving husband and father, Pramod found his greatest fulfillment in his wife, who is currently carrying the heavy burden of grief, and his two children, an eleven-year-old boy and a nineteen-year-old daughter, who were the absolute focus of his life. Even during his sickness, he dedicated his time to fostering their growth and providing stable, loving moments that strengthened family ties.
