What began as a quiet shift change would soon become the scene of a tragic domestic violence murder-suicide that claimed the lives of a nurse and her estranged husband.
Brandon Alexander, 35, of Minotola, arrived at the facility before his wife, Victoria Alexander, 38. He waited in the parking lot for her to appear for her nursing shift. When she arrived, he used his vehicle to block hers from leaving. Investigators later revealed that he had entered her car and left suicide notes on her dashboard.
The hours leading up to the confrontation were marked by disturbing online activity. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office noted that Alexander had posted a series of eight TikTok videos earlier that morning. The videos included chilling captions such as “Broken beyond repair,” “It’s over,” “I can’t no more,” and “I’m ok with not being here anymore,” painting a picture of a man in a deep personal crisis.
The situation escalated when a food delivery driver approached the parking lot and asked Brandon Alexander to move his vehicle. Seizing the opportunity, Victoria ran out of her car and into the facility in a desperate attempt to escape. However, Brandon pursued her on foot, forcing his way inside the building.
Once inside a hallway, he caught up to her and shot her multiple times. He then turned the gun on himself. Victoria Alexander was pronounced dead at the scene. Brandon Alexander was rushed to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in critical condition but later died from his self-inflicted wound on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
