Alberto Campa Macias Death – Family and friends mourns his tragic loss in Agua Dulce, CA

The family and friends of 39‑year‑old Alberto Campa Macias are mourning after he was killed on Sunday morning, May 3, 2026. He died in a motorcycle crash on the southbound 14 Freeway at the Escondido Canyon Road off‑ramp in Agua Dulce, according to the California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office. Emergency crews were dispatched at approximately 10:15 a.m. to reports of a downed motorcyclist.

CHP investigators stated that Macias had been operating a motorcycle when he crashed near the off‑ramp area. Responding units found him unresponsive in the roadway, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.

A female passenger riding with Macias sustained injuries in the collision. She was transported to Henry Mayo Hospital for medical treatment, though officials have not released details regarding her condition.

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the crash. CHP noted that it remains unclear whether impairment or any other contributing factor played a role in the incident. The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved, and no additional injuries were reported.
