Logan Daniel Roloff, 26, of Weston, died on March 13, 2026, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born on December 1, 1999, in Wausau to Dan and Christy (Raatz) Roloff. From the beginning, he was the younger brother to Alexis, and the two shared a bond that went beyond sibling ties. She was not only his sister but his trusted friend and confidant, someone who knew him in ways no one else could.
They were close in the way that siblings are when they grow up together in a small community, sharing secrets, fighting over small things, and always coming back to each other. Alexis died on April 30, 2019, and Logan carried her with him every day after.
Logan grew up in Weston, a town where families know each other and children walk to the same schools their parents attended. He went to D.C. Everest High School, graduating in 2018, the kind of student who showed up, did the work, and was liked by everyone who knew him. After high school, he attended the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, earning an Associate Degree. He was not the type to sit still. He liked to work, to build, to fix things, to use his hands.
At 15, he started working summers for Scott’s Enterprises, learning early what it meant to show up on time and do the job right. After he finished his degree, he joined Riverview Construction as a Lead Maintenance Technician, a role that suited him. He was reliable, steady, the kind of employee who could be counted on to handle whatever came his way.
Those who knew him remember a young man who worked hard but did not take himself too seriously. He had a quiet humor, a way of making people smile without trying. He was the friend who would help you move without complaining, who would show up with tools and a calm demeanor when something broke. He was the son who made his parents proud, the brother who carried the memory of Alexis with a quiet grief that he did not speak of often but that shaped him in ways those close to him understood.
His family will gather to say goodbye on Friday, March 27, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Weston. Rev. Jerome Patric will officiate. The night before, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., there will be a visitation at Brainard Funeral Home’s Everest Chapel, and again on Friday morning one hour before the service at the church. It will be a time for the people who knew Logan to come together, to share memories, to hold each other up.
Logan was 26 years old. He was a son, a brother, a friend. He was a worker who took pride in what he built, a young man who grew up in Weston and stayed close to the people he loved. He carried the loss of his sister Alexis with him, and now his family carries the loss of him. They will bury him beside her, in the same ground, under the same sky, two children who left too soon. And in the weeks and months ahead, they will tell the stories that keep them alive: the summers he worked, the laugh he had, the way he showed up, the bond he shared with his sister that nothing could break.
Logan is survived by his parents, Dan and Christy Roloff, and by all the people whose lives he touched in his quiet, steady way. He is preceded in death by his sister, Alexis, who was waiting for him on the other side. Together again.
