Their partnership served as a foundation for their family, providing stability and warmth through decades of change.
A lifetime farmer, Richard dedicated his life to the land, cultivating crops and caring for livestock with diligence and pride. His work in agriculture reflected a deep connection to nature and a commitment to sustaining the local food supply. In addition to farming, he served as a dedicated Pioneer Sales Representative for over 50 years, building relationships that extended far beyond business transactions.
Richard will be remembered most for his exceptional ability to truly connect with people. Whether speaking with a lifelong friend, a neighbor, or a healthcare provider meeting him for the first time, he had a unique gift for making every conversation feel like catching up with an old friend.

The Lebanon Valley Exposition Center & Fairgrounds, situated at 80 Rocherty Road in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, will have a memorial service on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Before the ceremony, friends and family can pay their respects and share memories at the visitation, which starts at noon.
